Bannock a la Jam

Bannock A la Jam

- 2 1/2 cups of flour
- 2 TBSP baking powder 
- 1 TSP of salt
- 3 TBSP vegetable oil 
- 2/3 cups of warm water

-First, Put the flour, baking powder and salt in a boal and stir well

-Add the oil and mix with your fingers until it forms small chunks with the flour

-Add the Water and mix with a spoon until no longer possible, continue to mix with your fingers
           Note DO NOT ADD MORE WATER it will make your dough to runny and it wont stay on 
               the stick
-Kneed the dough onto a green stick 
-Cook for 10-12 minutes on the coals of a fire 

-Fill the hole where the stick used to be with jam, Enjoy
